​Lymphoma, the most frequently diagnosed among hematological cancers, is the uncontrolled proliferation and growth of lymphocytes, the body's defense mechanism, in other words, white blood cells. There are 2 types; referred to as Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin.

Hodgkin Lymphoma is a type of cancer that is mostly seen in men of all age groups and the cause is unknown. Hodgkin Lymphoma types are in the treatable cancer groups.

Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is the name given to all other types of Lymphoma. Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is divided into 2 groups; B and T Lymphoma. The treatment applied determines the course of B and T cell lymphomas that are more aggressive and progressing rapidly than other lymphoma types.

Swelling in the lymph nodes, which are a part of the body's defense mechanism and immune system, are the most prominent features of lymph cancer.

As with all types of cancer, the stage of the disease in the treatment process of lymph cancer, the patient's age, physical and mental health status are the most important factors that determine the treatment method and process of this disease.

In addition to the importance of early diagnosis in lymphomas, it is very important for the patient to have high morale and support.
